Please note that protectors tend to generate heat and may nullify the cooling effect of the Easca Gel Foam. It isn’t necessary to use a protective cover with the mattress but if you’re concerned about pets, spills, etc., it can be beneficial to use one. The soft viscose and polyester fabric cover that comes with mattress is not water-resistant. If you do decide to use one, we recommend choosing a protector that is moisture-resistant as well as breathable.
A fitted sheet style will work best. Best practice is to let the mattress air out for a day or two after delivery before putting on a protector.
To return your mattress, send an email to email@example.com along with a photograph of your mattress and reason for the return and we'll process your refund in full.
We'll arrange a collection free of charge.
NOTE: If you recently received your mattress, all we ask to qualify for the 100 night trial is that you allow 3 weeks use before initiating your return. It can take a little bit of time for your mattress to break in, and for you to become acclimatised to it.
We delivery via Aerly Bird Transport direct from our makers in Dublin. It usually takes no more than 7 working days to make and deliver your mattress.
Easca Gel Foam is a Gel-infused Viscoelastic foam.
Gel-infused Viscoelastic foam offers four very unique properties;
1. Variable Support Factor: When Gel-infused foam is compressed, the gel particles (“beads”) begin to coalesce and interact resulting in a smooth shift from Viscoelastic foam properties to pressure response more like pure gel. In the transition, there is a hybrid Gel-Visco response producing a Variable Support Factor. Essentially, greater compression results in greater support and the result is that this unique material provides superior comfort without the typical problem of bottoming out under heavy loads.
2. Super Thermal-Conductivity: The substrate Viscoelastic foam used in Gel-infused visco is highly conductive open-cell memory foam. When this is combined with gel (a material known for high heat capacity and conductivity), the result is a material with the ability to rapidly channel heat that also has enough capacity to help regulate body heat. Gel is very cool to the touch.
3. Superior Mapping: Gel is widely used in applications where pressure relief and energy-absorption is required. Bedding requires a comfort zone of support where loads are smoothly distributed. However, sitting & lying sideways on a conventional topper or mattress quickly overloads the support and fully compresses the comfort layer. Gel-infused foam provides a transition from great pressure relief in the comfort zone (top 60% of compression) to greater support in the deep compression range from 60% to 90%.
4. Broad Temperature Performance Range (Glass Transition): The integration of Viscoelastic foam and Gel results in a blending of the typical Glass Transition Range (Tg) of Viscoelastic foam that results in a much wider temperature performance range. This unique property means that Gel-infused Visco will perform with great pressure relief and comfort through a very wide range of home temperatures resulting in more uniform comfort in both cool and warm environments.
The Easca Mattress is comprised of 3 layers of high-quality, high-performance foam, blended to our design and specifications.
The bottom layer is a 15cm support layer of high-density foam, the middle layer is 5cm of supportive foam, 30% more breathable than traditional memory foam with open air technology that encourages air flow and the top layer is 5cm of gel infused cooling memory foam, which is unique to Easca. Easca’s construction is superior in both quality and comfort because it provides pressure relief, support, and breathability, all in one.
Designed to be medium firm, feedback has informed us that the majority of people find this the most comfortable. Our foam supports the natural posture of your spine, relieving back, shoulder, and neck problems and naturally breathes so you don't sleep hot.
Easca mattresses are designed to be compatible with most options such as a slatted frame (make sure the slats are no more than 4 inches apart!), platform frame, divan, box spring, hardwood floor, synthetic carpeted floor or treated concrete floor. What you choose to use is entirely up to you.

Our mattress works great with most adjustable bed frames. The foam that we use in the mattress is very flexible and can easily bend to incline or recline as needed without causing damage to the mattress or voiding the warranty.
Generally speaking, when choosing a bed frame of any kind, the biggest concern is proper support for the mattress. Most adjustable bed frames offer a solid platform foundation, which will work perfectly with our mattress. Otherwise, a slatted bed frame, with slats no more than 4 inches apart, will also offer optimal support for the bed.
Standard bed sheets, fitted or flat in the relevant size are suitable for the Easca Mattress.
We believe that you have to spend more than a few minutes on a mattress to know if it's right for you. That's why we offer the 100 night sleep trial. If you don't like it, we'll help you return it with no questions asked, but feedback is always appreciated.
NOTE: In circumstances of an incorrect mattress size being ordered the The 100 day sleep trail will be void if the mattress has been removed from the original packaging.
Surprisingly, it doesn't cost loads of money to craft a comfortable mattress using the best materials. We make quality mattresses and sell them at a fair price. We charge what we need to, not what we can.
We started Easca because of our own experiences with mattress gimmicks. This industry is already full of discount programs that deceptively inflate prices and trick people into thinking they are getting a deal. We believe that everyone should get the same price—the fair price.
The delivery weights of our mattresses are:
Single = 23 Kg
EU Single = 24 Kg
Double = 29 Kg

As soon as your Easca mattress arrives, we suggest our customers schedule a charity shop pickup for your old mattress - local churches and homeless shelters are also good options.
Keep in mind that in order to donate used mattresses, they need to be rip, tear, and stain free. Usually, there are recycling services in your area which you can schedule to remove your old mattress for a small fee if a charity won't accept the donation.
Call or email us if you need some donation or recycling location suggestions and we'd be happy to help find some options in your area.
Your Easca Mattress is covered by warranty for 10 years against defects, you can find the warranty here.
If you discover a defect in your Easca, email us email@example.com or give us a call at 076 680 5111 to let us know what the problem is. If emailing please attach a couple pictures to illustrate the problem.
Easca warrants any damages in the cover due to defects in materials and workmanship when used normally for a period of 10 years from the date of original purchase. Send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you've had a warranty issue and we'd be happy to help.
If you'd like to purchase an additional cover, not covered under warranty, you can do that by giving us a call at 076 680 5111.
Yes. The Easca Mattress does not contain any animal products such as wool, silk or casein. All materials are from sustainable sources wherever possible. Additionally, our foam is adheres to CertiPur standards.
Warranties that are more than 10 years are generally prorated, which means for every year you own it, you would receive less and less credit. The reality is, other companies make it extremely difficult to prove damage and redeem the warranty.
We help honor our customers loyalty by acting in good faith, and that means transparency, honesty, and accuracy in our pricing, and in our warranties. Send us some photographs, we'll help diagnose the issue, and we'd be happy to send a replacement per our warranty.
This is unlikely to happen. We consider increased softness such as body impressions or permanent indentations to fall under our 10 year warranty. If you observe a visible indentation please let our team know so that we can help you replace the mattress.
The Easca warranty covers manufacturing defects like body impressions or sagging, cover defects such as unraveling stitching, or flaws in the foam causing it to split or crack within 10 years from the original purchase date. Feel free to read the terms of our warranty here.
We don't cover changes to your mattress that are caused by or the result of normal wear and tear. Also, of course, we don’t cover changes caused by or resulting from circumstances or uses that go beyond the intended use of a mattress.
Yes, you can use our Easca mattress with a heating pad and it will not damage the foam. If you use a specific heating pad that works well, drop us a line and let us know. We’d really appreciate that!
There are three basic types of mattress protective covers: encasement, fitted-sheet and pad. Encasement is just like it sounds: the encasement protector completely covers the mattress. The second type of protector fits the mattress like a fitted sheet. Both styles of protector are popular with people who suffer from allergies. Mattress pads are the most minimal and typically have elastic straps at the corners to secure it to the mattress.
Keep in mind that using any kind of mattress protector will most likely generate heat throughout the night.
Yes, the Easca is perfect for those with Asthma.
Mattresses made with springs can be problematic for people with Asthma and other allergies due to the space afforded around the springs. Spring/coil mattresses are the perfect breeding ground for dust mites. Dead skin cells can also build up, and these two combined can then irritate your chest. Mould is also something to be aware of & it can also grow within the mattress cavity, this happens because of body heat transfer through the night which then settles once again in the cavity.
The Easca mattress is made of a solid foam core (Made with 3 layers of foam) which means there is no space for dust mites to gather and cause possible problems for asthmatics.
Some people notice a new mattress smell for a few days, but it goes away quickly. Initially, we suggest letting the mattress air out by removing any sheets or mattress protector that cover it. You can leave our fabric cover on. The smell comes from the freshly new foam being packaged during transit and not from any harmful chemicals.
You can, but you should always use sheets (and ideally a protector too).
We currently don’t have any retail stores. We sell directly from our website only, which keeps the Easca at a fair price. Why not take our 100 night free trial instead and sleep on it!
In most cases, you won't need to air the mattress. We use spacer cloth on the mattress bottom to optimize air flow. For floor use on warmer days, we suggest that you regularly prop-up your mattress to refresh the air-flow; this will help keep your Easca mattress dry and clean.
Our mattress is designed to be plush on top while remaining supportive. Put differently, our mattresses are about a 6 or 7 on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being a feather pillow and 10 a hardwood floor. The foam has a great balance of pressure relief and support, which usually isn't seen in the mattress industry. This combination makes the foam ideal for all kinds of sleepers, whether you like soft or firm.
We've designed our foam to work with those who like soft mattresses as well as those who like firm, so we encourage everyone to give us a try regardless of your usual preference. If you're not 100% satisfied, you can return it for a full refund.
Our mattress is designed with square edges and corners. Our Easca logo is lightly woven into the fabric of the smooth cover.
Our mattress is tested by CertiPur, a 3rd party foam certifier, to be free from known harmful chemicals and gasses. More specifically, our mattress is tested to be free from ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, heavy metals, formaldehyde, phthalates, and low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million).
The Easca will support up to 240 kg per person, for a total of 480 kg on a two sleeper mattress.
The Easca Mattress has the same support at the sides as it does at the center. When you lie down or sit on the edge of the mattress, you shouldn't feel like you're rolling or sliding off.
There isn't any internal structure that reinforces the edges of the mattress so if you like to sit on the edge of your bed, sitting further back towards the center of the mattress and keeping it lower to the ground will help.
Our fire barrier is essentially a fabric blend. It's mostly rayon, blended with small amounts of polyester and silica (very fine-grained sand). When it's blended like that, it's inherently flame retardant. This fabric blend fits on the mattress like a sock, underneath the cover, and there are no chemical flame retardants in our foam.
These are different types of frame/foundation options that would work perfectly with the Easca mattress:
Divan Bed Frame - Divan bed frames come in a variety of styles, and they either feature horizontal slats (think planks, usually wooden) or a solid platform for the mattress to rest on.
Slatted Bed Frame - A slatted bed frame is another way of saying platform frame and gets its name from the characteristic horizontal slats that support the mattress. When shopping for a slatted bed frame, make sure the slats are no more than 3-4 inches apart.
Slats - Slats are the planks that are usually placed horizontally on a slatted or platform frame. Their purpose is to support the mattress and their function is analogous to that of a box spring.
Metal Bed Frame - The metal frame is a traditional bed frame that supports a box spring + mattress.
Box Spring - Traditionally featuring a wooden frame and springs, most modern box springs are, in fact, slatted or solid foundations. Their purpose is to provide even support under the mattress, and they work with either a metal bed frame or a platform bed.
Solid Foundation - A solid foundation provides the support of a platform frame or slats, though it looks very much like a box spring and is used the same way: metal frame + solid foundation + mattress. Most modern box springs are solid or slatted foundations.
We're currently unable to offer any custom sizes.
With all mattresses, there is a chance of mildew when it lacks airflow, especially over an organic (e.g. cotton rug, plywood) or moist surface. For best care on the floor, we suggest that you regularly (once or twice a week) prop-up your mattress to refresh the air-flow; this will help keep your Easca mattress dry and clean.
We are currently unable to provide samples of our mattress. Our foams have been tested by CertiPUR for off-gassing, formaldehyde, and a host of other toxins.
Take it for a test drive and sleep on it for 100 days, risk free!
Don't machine wash or dry the mattress cover; it may shrink. Instead, unzip and remove the cover and spot clean with a mild detergent - gently dabbing the cover rather than rubbing it. Make sure the cleaned area is 100% dry before replacing the cover or placing sheets and blankets back on the mattress.
The cover is a high quality rayon and polyester performance fabric. It's designed to be soft to the touch, but also durable over time.
The cover is not waterproof, so if there are any concerns, we'd recommend looking for a mattress protector.
The Easca Mattress cannot be folded after it has expanded from the original packaging. The foam is too thick to fold properly and it can potentially damage the foam.
If you're looking to transport the mattress, it will move similarly to a traditional mattress but be a little more flexible. While it can't be folded, it will bend around corners and is lighter than traditional mattresses.
Our foam core has been designed to have a specific top and bottom, and you do not need to flip it over time. Always keep the zippered side down for optimal comfort.
Position your mattress on top of your bed frame and find the ends of the plastic wrap stuck to the side of the roll. Pull on the end of the plastic until the mattress is completely unrolled.
Roll the mattress out so that it's flat, then pull off the remaining plastic.
Let it expand 2-3 hours and your mattress will be ready for sleep!
Keep in mind that some of our mattresses are compressed to smaller than their expected size in order to make delivery easier. As soon as you fully remove the mattress from the plastic, it will expand to its correct size.
